“Called them up thinking I needed a new roof and gutters. They stopped by the same day, gave me an assessment of everything and it turns out the roof was repairable. They didn't try to pressure me into any unnecessary work. Just simply he gave me a couple of prices depending on what I decided to do. They were able to schedule the job quickly for a few days later and by the middle of the afternoon everything was done and it looks great!”
“I called for an estimate for a new roof. The price they quoted was way below two other estimates I received. I was also told that it would take 1-2 days to complete. Everything Alter Phase Contracting Inc promised was delivered. They gladly supplied me with their licensing and insurance information. The warranty is printed on my receipt. My entire new roof was done in one day! They left the property spotless. The owner was courteous, professional and upfront about the project from beginning to end. I would gladly recommend this company to anyone. I'm loving my new roof!”
“Just WOW! I expected that this would take several days, they got my new roof done in just 1 day. The guys did a thorough job, from set up to clean up. The price quoted was the price I paid, no gimmicks. True Staten Islanders. My roof looks great, couldn't be more happier. Would recommend to anyone who asks.”
“Marke and his team did an excellent job on replacing my roof! He and his brother came to my house, climbed up the roof to investigate the condition unlike other contractors which were only using a drone to take pictures. He gave me honest opinion and options for replacing my roof. Great communication and very easy to work with during the whole process. The price is also fair comparing to other roof contractors. I will definitely contact Alter Phase Roofing Contracting again with any roof related issues in the future!”
“I called a few roofers & Alter Phase was the only one that returned my call promptly & showed up the next day to give the estimate. They were very detailed in their explanation and immediately put me at ease. They showed up 3 days later and did the work in one day. Every worker on the job was courteous and friendly. My house now looks like a million bucks. Use these guys, you will be happy & satisfied. I have no doubt that I hired the best”
“10/10 would recommend! This is the second time I've used this company, and they've been excellent both times. The first time was a few years ago for a full shingle replacement. Most recently, I called them back to repair my flat roof and gutter system after a rough winter caused pooling and a leak. They came out the very next day to assess the issue, which I really appreciated. The team was professional, polite, and their pricing was extremely fair. Because of the weather, the job required multiple visits but their communication was consistent, clear, and reliable throughout. They always showed up exactly when they said they would, which is rare these days. It's hard to find a trustworthy company for major home repairs, especially when so many are overpriced and underdeliver. This team exceeded expectations, and I'll absolutely continue to use them in the future.”
“I just had my roof replaced and we couldn't be happier with the result. They were very thorough and professional and got the job done right before a storm. Perfect timing! We are very pleased with the whole process, the owners took us through step-by-step on what to expect with the project. We would definitely recommend Alter Phase Roofing!”
“Very professional team and would definitely recommend for roofing. They took the time to answer all my questions and gave me details on the scope of work in terms I could understand. The team arrived on time, went straight to setting up and began working. I was notified on completion for verification and they left the working area cleaner than it was originally. Thank you very much for your services.”
“Alter Phase Roofing Contracting is a very good company. My new roof they installed just in one day, very professional and responsive. Clean very nice after the job and very friendly. The new roof has withstood several heavy rainstorms without any leaks. They are very respectful to come back inspected whole roof to make sure no any problem after weeks . I am highly recommended Alter Phase Roofing Contracting.”
“Quick, reliable and does OUTSTANDING work. We had a leak on our roof and made calls and left messages. They were the only company that called me back with in 10 min, they gave me an appointment the same day to come out and check out our roof. When we agreed to use them they were back here in 2 days to replace the roof and did an amazing job. They were friendly, knowledgeable and answered every question we had with confidence. Needless to say I would recommend to anyone who maybe need their roof repaired or replaced”
“Marke and his team did an outstanding job replacing the roof on my 3 story house. From the quick estimate, to the finished product, they took pride, protected my house and property 100%. Marke also found a few bad spots, showed me and kept me informed as repairs were made. There were NO HIDDEN CHARGES!! I can't say enough about them. If you need any roofing, call Alter Phase”
“Amazing service. Mark responded within minutes of sending a message on Yelp. It was a weekday evening, and he said he could come by for a free estimate within 15 minutes. Mark arrived, did a thorough inspection of my roof and gave me a very reasonable price. He came back the next day and completed the work (replacing about 10 missing roof shingles and removing some moss). He also took before and after pictures to confirm that work. I'm always hesitant working with contractors for fear of being upsold, but Mark was honest and didn't try to pressure or sell anything extra that I didn't need. When it is time for a new roof, I am absolutely coming back to Mark. Would certainly recommend.”
“Mark and his brother replaced a broken glass in the skylight on my roof. They did excellent work in a short amount of time. They were reasonably priced. They saved me quite a bit of money and time as I originally thought I would need to replace the whole skylight but I didn't have to do that. From the estimate to the project completion everything was done quickly and professionally, within a few days. Communicating every step of the way. I am happy with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing work.”

They have also been careful with my landscaping”

“The team from Alter Phase roofing did a superb job on my roofing project. During the initial assessment, they actually took the time to walk my roof and identify all my trouble spots and provided reasonable repair options for me to consider. Other contractors that I vetted, would either send up a drone or use a Google maps view to evaluate the roof condition. I prefer the hands on approach when it comes to inspection, which Alter phase roofing did from the get go. Project price and time line were clearly communicated every step of the way. Demolition to installation and post work clean up was handled with care and professionalism. I highly recommend Alter phase roofing.”
“I'm usually working so with schedule can't always be at house. Mark was great on phone and sent photos showing work he did. There was trim from roof siding came down. He came back next day made repairs.”

“My garage roof is beautiful. I watched as Mike and crew worked, observed the great care they took in addressing every detail. I have never seen work performed with a more conscientious and professional regard. They were absolutely fastidious in the cleanup process. They even offered to make small cement repairs that they noticed around the perimeter of my house and never asked for additional payment. Five stars aren't nearly enough to indicate the superlative work that this company provided.”

“We contacted Mark and the team to install 2 skylights on our roof. Our roof is very steep and has hips, valleys, obstacles, solar panels, so it was not very easy. Mark answered all our questions and helped us navigate the potential sites to put the skylights, and once the plan was in place they did a quick job of installing everything. “Highly recommend: very responsive, professional, skilled and provide transparent and honest pricing. I had the pleasure to interact with Marke for the waterproofing of our condo balcony; from initial estimates to completed job I always felt I was in good hands. We've had few rainy days and no more water leaks! Thank you Marke and team!”
“I do most of the repairs and maintenance on the property I own and manage. My tenant texted me Friday evening with a video of a water leak coming from the attic/roof. The next day I inspected the attic thinking that maybe the solar panels installed two years ago may be the cause. To my surprise and relief the cause was a missing plastic cover that was on the roofs powered exhaust vent. It had blown off during Fridays storm. Luckily my tenant had stored the cover but did know what it was. The vent with the cover on looks like a mushroom. On Sunday, I used Angie 's list to located a Staten Island roofer since my Brooklyn guy had not yet called back and I didn't want to risk another rain storm. The first contractor that called was already talking about replacing the exhaust vent at about $1600 for the job I cut him short since I only wanted a cover replaced. I said this is not looking good . Good bye. About 5 minutes later Marke calls me I got lucky, real lucky in finding a guy that did not try to cheat me. I told him all that was needed was to replace the cover. I texted him the photos of the cover. He stated that he could possibly fix the cover once he takes a look at it. It may be hard to find a replacement. At 10am he arrived at the house with his father. (Once he said that was his father, I knew I had the right guy) He inspected the roof and confirmed he could do a decent repair. He showed me pics of the roof vent. No need to change it. He used metal strips and screws to attach the cover. Then he placed ice/water shield and adhered it to the cover. He took pics again after the repair. The price was very reasonable The honesty was superb The time arrangement could not have been better. I paid cash and he later emailed me an invoice as I had requested. He is a good man who works with his father and since he did not steer me wrong, I decided to give him an excellent review!! I hope you call him if you ever do need a reliable and honest roofer. By the way, my Brooklyn roofer did call me back and confirmed that he would have done the same.”
“I recently had Alterphase roofing company replace my existing roof, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and courteous. I highly recommend Alterphase roofing company to anyone in need of roofing services. Thank you for a job well done!"”

“We have a flat roof in the back of our home as a cover for our back patio. It was partly shingled and also had a leak. We had several companies come to our home to give us quotes. We went with Alter Phase and we are very satisfied- work was done promptly, pricing was on point for us, everything was explained thoroughly and all communication was easy. They cleaned up after themselves and were efficient. Thanks Mark!”
“Mark was very professional and prompt. He showed up when he said he would, reviewed the job and gave a fair estimate of what the job would cost. He was not looking to overcharge and the solution to fix the roof was much less serious than we thought. He was honest and did not create a major (expensive) project out of something that was a quick fix. He was very pleasant and I highly recommend him.”
“We used this company for a roof repair last year which went really well. He was fast, quality work and affordable . This year another roof on our building was leaking. They came out and looked at it and instead of charging us for a new roof he told us it was a minor issues and helped fix the problem he also helped us with replacing a window pane on a very large window. Again the work was quality and completed very fast! very affordable! This company is now our go to. So comforting to have a quality and reliable contractor for our projects.”

“Mark is the best roofer I have worked with. We have a persistent roof leak issue and we have have worked with multiple roofers to fix the problem. Mark gave us a reasonable quote and patiently explained his proposed solutions. He came on time, was very well organized and communicated his process with us. So far the roof looks great and we have not experienced any further leaks. He even checked with me periodically after the work was done to see if we are having any issues. Time will tell if the roof holds up. But I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a reliable roofer.”
