The questions boards ask, answered

Why should we trust your price?

Every proposal is itemized and backed by photos, so the board sees what it's paying for. When a repair will do, we quote the repair.

Who will be on site?

Our own crew, not subcontractors. Owner Marke is part of every job and is the person accountable for it.

What about permits and city rules?

Roof work can involve DOB permits, and full replacements can trigger NYC cool-roof rules and the sustainable roofing rules of Local Laws 92 and 94. We tell you what applies before you approve anything and include permit costs in the estimate. Our NYC roof replacement guide has the details.

What if something goes wrong later?

New roofs carry up to 50-year manufacturer and up to 25-year workmanship warranties, in writing, so the board has a document to point to.

Roof systems we install and repair

A maintenance program that saves money

Flat roofs fail early when nobody looks at them, and Staten Island's nor'easters and freeze-thaw winters find every neglected seam. We recommend a simple routine: an inspection each spring and fall, small repairs fixed right away, drains cleared, and a written report after every visit. It costs far less than one emergency, and it gives your board the paper trail it needs for capital planning. To see typical numbers, check our roof replacement cost guide.

“Called them up thinking I needed a new roof and gutters. They stopped by the same day, gave me an assessment of everything and it turns out the roof was repairable. They didn't try to pressure me into any unnecessary work. Just simply he gave me a couple of prices depending on what I decided to do. They were able to schedule the job quickly for a few days later and by the middle of the afternoon everything was done and it looks great!”

“10/10 would recommend! This is the second time I've used this company, and they've been excellent both times. The first time was a few years ago for a full shingle replacement. Commercial and multi-family roofing: common questions

Can you provide a certificate of insurance before work starts?

Yes. We're licensed and insured, and we provide a certificate of insurance on request before any work begins, naming the building, owner or managing agent as required.

Do you bid on multiple buildings at once?

Yes. Send us the addresses and what you know about each roof. We inspect each building and give you a separate written scope and price for each one, so you can compare and schedule them.

Who handles NYC Department of Buildings permits?

We do. When a job needs a DOB permit, we file it, and permit costs are included in the written estimate.

How do you handle emergencies at a managed building?

Call (929) 370-1552. Emergency calls are answered 24/7. We stop the water first, document the damage with photos, then quote the permanent repair.

How often should a building roof be inspected?

Twice a year for flat roofs: in spring to check winter damage and in fall before the cold season. Catching small issues early is far cheaper than an emergency repair.
